In the past week, many of you have contributed in support of Law Enforcement Against Prohibition’s Help Police Speak Out Against the War on Drugs fundraising campaign. We’ve raised $2,856 so far – a great start – but we need your help to meet our goal of $20,000 by December 3.

Your support will allow LEAP to continue our work, giving brave law enforcers who take a stand against the War on Drugs the opportunity to speak out, and recruiting more active duty officers to join our ranks.

Next week, LEAP will co-host the 2015 International Drug Policy Reform Conference, where our own Major Neill Franklin will receive the H.B. Spear Award for Achievement in the Field of Control and Enforcement, honoring law enforcement professionals who have demonstrated a balanced regard for the needs of enforcement and human compassion. Following a 33-year law enforcement career, where he witnessed the failure of the War on Drugs firsthand, Neill joined LEAP, and has served as our Executive Director since 2010. He leads by example as a police officer speaking out about a failed, destructive policy.

Help us celebrate Neill’s commitment to ending the War on Drugs, and support police officers’ right to speak out. To keep LEAP going strong, make a contribution to our campaign today.

There are two important ways you can help:

1. Make a gift of $20 or more to support LEAP’s work

2. Invite at least 10 friends to join this effort and make a gift by sharing our campaign link, www.tiny.cc/leap_speaks
