The Time For Peace Is Now – End The Failed War On Drugs

Between August 12, and September 12, 2012 Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP) lead Javier Sicilia’s Caravan for Peace and Justice from the Mexican border at San Diego to Washington D.C.

The mission of the 110 victims in the Caravan was to put a face to the pain and anguish of the 71,000 murdered and tens of thousands disappeared in Mexico since 2006 and to create a dialogue with the North American public to end the drug war.

LEAP’s Mission was to support the victims by underscoring the credibility of their message with a Law Enforcement voice that bears personal witness to the wasteful futility and harms of the War on Drugs.

This film highlights Caravan actions throughout the 27-city tour that will become part of a L.E.A.P. documentary currently in development.
