I received the following information form the legendary Aaron Houston, Executive Director of Students for Sensible Drug Policy (SSDP). Students for Sensible Drug Policy is my favorite reform organization on the planet, so when they send me stuff, I post it as fast as I can. Please consider supporting Students for Sensible Drug Policy with a donation. I promise you, every dollar they get goes to big, big things.

If there is one thing that you do during 4/20 week, I hope it’s a donation to SSDP. Good donation amounts include $4.20, $420.00, $420,000…I know that Richard Branson reads this blog from time to time: @SirBranson – can I get a cash loan for a very, very worthy cause? :) See below:

Are you free this Friday? If so, Students for Sensible Drug Policy would like to invite you to a happy hour we’re hosting in Chinatown to support our work to end the war on drugs.

SSDP 4/20 Happy Hour at The Riot Act!

Where: Riot Act Comedy – Theatre 801 E Street NW – Washington, DC 20004
*Less than 2 blocks southeast of the Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro Station*

When: 5:00pm-10:00pm Friday, April 20th

Who: Drug policy reform supporters and friends of SSDP. You must be 21 to drink, but those under 21 are more than welcome to come by to enjoy some good food and good company.

The Riot Act has generously offered to donate a portion of sales made on Friday 4/20 at the upstairs bar to SSDP! We hope you’ll be able to stop by after work for a bite to eat and/or a couple drinks. This will be a great opportunity to network with other drug policy activists in the DC area, all while supporting a great cause! If you can’t join us this time, feel free to pass this invitation along to your friends and colleagues.
