women growI have been to a few Women Grow Portland Chapter events, and they have all been outstanding. My wife attended the last event with me, and she asks me almost everyday now when the next one will take place. The next Women Grow Portland Chapter event is taking place this Thursday (September 3 from 6-9 pm at Jacobsen Salt 602 SE Salmon St Portland, OR 97209), and there is a very special guest. One of my personal heroes Earl Blumenauer will be speaking at the Women Grow event. Earl Blumenauer is of course one of Oregon’s federal Representatives to Congress, and is a long time champion of cannabis reform. Below is more about the event, via the event’s Eventbrite page (which is where you can order tickets, while they last!):

We are thrilled to announce that Earl Blumenauer will be joining us as our keynote speaker for our September Event.

Earl Blumenauer is the U.S. Representative for Oregon’s 3rd congressional district, serving since 1996. The district includes most of Portland east of the Willamette River. He previously spent over 20 years as a public official in Portland, including serving on the Portland City Council from 1987 to 1996. Earl has been hugely influential on many levels of legislation, several of which are in the area of marijuana law reform. We are honored to host him at this event!
