marijuana cannabis idaho threeActivists are working very hard in Idaho to reform Idaho’s marijuana laws. That is not an easy task, as Idaho has more pro-reefer madness fans than most other states. I know this to be true because a big chunk of my family is from Idaho, and many still live there. Below is a call to action via New Approach Idaho and Idaho Moms for Marijuana. Please participate if you are able:

THIS IS AN ONLINE CAMPAIGN DIRECTED AT THE GOVERNOR OF IDAHO. PLEASE JOIN US IN DEMANDING REFORM OF IDAHO LAWS BY THE PASSAGE OF ALEXIS’ LAW.

Although not legalization of any kind, Alexis’ Law (SENATE BILL 1146) is a good step forward for Idaho.

It is a stark contrast to the resolution the Legislature passed two years ago saying they would never allow Marijuana in Idaho FOR ANY REASON.

The bill has passed both the Senate and the House and is headed to Governor Otter’s desk.

It provides an affirmative defense for parents who choose to use CBD ONLY Cannabis oil for their epileptic children.

We will change the date of the petition frequently to keep this online event ongoing. This event will end the 22nd of April, or when Otter signs Alexis’ Law. If he vetoes it, we will do a non-violent, public, shame campaign to let him know just what we think. Keep an eye out for that if he vetoes it!
