If you are interested in collecting signatures, now is the time to get involved. We have many training events statewide.

After pushing through some bad weather the first couple weeks of the year, our petition drive to place medical cannabis on the November ballot has rocketed into 2018. Last week, our paid petitioners posted their best week of the campaign so far, and we have now collected more than 175,000 signatures of the roughly 280,000 we will need to submit!

Equally impressive, nearly 100,000 of those signatures were gathered by volunteers! We hope volunteers will collect another 35,000 signatures before we submit signatures this spring, but time is running out, and we need your help.

If you are interested in collecting signatures, now is the time to get involved, and we have scheduled a multitude of training events statewide. Look for an event near you in the regional listings below and click on the link to see full event details and RSVP:

Western Missouri:Jeff Mizanskey

Whether you collect 25 signatures or 2,500, we hope that you will dedicate some of your time over the next few months to engaging with your fellow Missourians and asking them to sign the petition.

However, if you are unable to collect signatures for whatever reason, we still need your help. Even with a very strong volunteer performance, we will need to collect the majority of our signatures going forward with paid petitioners, and all signatures must be processed through our rigorous validation system.

Help us cover those expenses by contributing $10, $25, $50, or $100 now! This campaign is fueled by people like you. Regardless of whether you contribute by collecting signatures, donating, or both, we cannot succeed without you. Please make plans toattend a petitioner training eventandcontribute now!

Sincerely,
John Payne
