A meeting of all Kansas City area NORML members and supporters is scheduled for this Saturday, August 22, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the Kansas City Public Library-Westport Branch in the Westport Meeting Room at 118 Westport Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64111.
This meeting is an attempt to reorganize and revitalize NORML in the Kansas City area. All people interested in pursuing marijuana law reform are encouraged to attend.
I will be speaking at this meeting about the role of NORML in the marijuana law reform movement, the plans to place a medical marijuana initiative on the Missouri ballot in November of 2016, and the reasons why a strong and active Kansas City NORML Chapter is important to the success of our efforts to change the law, both through the initiative process and in the Missouri General Assembly.
