The Marijuana Policy Project is pleased to announce that the family of Peter Tosh, seminal reggae artist and champion of human rights, is re-releasing “Legalize It” and “Equal Rights” on Sony Records on June 22, 2011. These songs have spoken to generations of people all over the world about the need to end marijuana prohibition and achieve justice for all people, especially marijuana users.
We will be joining the family of Peter Tosh in trying to spread this message far and wide, and with it the ways in which you can help continue Tosh’s work. If Peter Tosh’s music and message have touched your life, please help us carry on his legacy.
There is something you can do right now to join the struggle. A bill will be introduced in Congress tomorrow that would remove nearly all federal involvement with marijuana policy, and would allow states to craft their own marijuana laws free from interference.
Please take a moment of your time to contact your congressperson and asked them to pass this bill, in the name of equal rights and justice.
