You Can Only Vote For Marijuana Reform In Michigan If You Are Registered To Vote

With marijuana policy initiatives on the ballot in Detroit, Grand Rapids, Flint, Ypsilanti, and Kalamazoo, Michigan voters have a chance to send a strong message to their elected officials. But in order to do so, you have to be registered to vote, and today is the deadline to register.
Click here to download a voter registration form. You can also get one from your local county clerk, military recruitment office, or a Secretary of State branch office. Fill out the form, find the city or county clerk’s office on the form that’s closest to you, and turn it in or mail it to that address. If you’re mailing it, be sure the form is postmarked for today! To check your registration status or find your polling place, visit the Michigan Voter Information Center website. If you’re over 60 years of age, or expect to be out of town on election day, you can request an absentee ballot. However, if this is your first time voting at your current address, you’ll need to show up at the polls and vote in-person.
