On November 6, we have an opportunity to legalize marijuana in several states. But we have less than 30 days to make sure we win on Election Day.

Time is running out. If you want to help legalize marijuana this year, it’s critical that you donate today!

Along with our allies, we are working to legalize marijuana in three states. Voters in Colorado, Oregon and Washington will vote on marijuana legalization ballot initiatives next month.

You know it’s time to legalize marijuana, and these state ballot initiatives are the first step to make it happen. In 1996, Californians voted in favor of a ballot initiative that legalized medical marijuana in that state. Now, one-third of Americans nationwide live in states where medical marijuana is legal.

If Colorado, Washington or Oregon legalizes marijuana, it will catapult drug policy reform onto the national and international stage. Our opponents know it, and they’re trying to stop these ballot measures from passing. In fact, nine former heads of the Drug Enforcement Administration are so scared that the public will vote to legalize that they sent a letter to Attorney General Holder asking him to oppose all the ballot initiatives.

Donate by this Friday, October 12, and your tax-deductible gift will help us fight our opponents and win in November.

When opportunity calls, we count on supporters like you to rise to the occasion. And we’ve reached an unprecedented opportunity this election year.

Your chance to make history is here: donate today to help legalize marijuana next month.
