It seems like everyone and their grandma is either in the cannabis industry in Oregon right now, or is trying to get into the industry. It’s easy to see why – Oregon sold 11 million dollars worth of marijuana the first week of limited recreational marijuana sales. One can only imagine as other products are allowed to be sold, and more customers start making purchases (especially tourists), the future of the Oregon cannabis industry is VERY bright.
There is an event coming up this week that is going to be very informative, and very affordable. The National Cannabis Industry Association is holding a member reception and federal policy update on October 14 at Kennedy School in Portland (5736 NE 33rd Ave Portland, OR 97211) from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. For those of you that aren’t familiar with Kennedy School, it’s a McMenamins property, so the venue is absolutely fantastic, as all McMenamins properties tend to be. While the event is geared towards NCIA members, non-members can attend too. Below are details about the event. You can purchase tickets at this link here:
The National Cannabis Industry Association is hosting the next event in our “2015 Cannabis Industry Networking Reception Series” for our Oregon based members on Wednesday, October 14th in the Gymnasium at The Kennedy School in Portland.
Featured Speakers
Aaron Smith - Executive Director – National Cannabis Industry Association
U.S. Representative Earl Blumenauer (D-OR 3rd District)
This event is complimentary for NCIA members and open to other cannabusiness professionals for a nominal donation of $40.
Don’t miss your opportunity to learn about recent policy developments on the federal front from those working directly on the issues everyday and what membership with our association can do for your cannabusiness while supporting these efforts.
On top of this invaluable access to information that impacts your business, these events allow the opportunity for our members to network in an intimate setting while sharing successes and hardships among a group of established peers. So what what are you waiting for? Come network with other established cannabis industry leaders all with the ultimate goal of furthering our collective interests through cooperation & collaboration.
As always, light hor d’oeuvres and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided by NCIA. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at a cash bar throughout the event.
