Cannabis Education Forum Presents "The Golden State Of Cannabis"

The Cannabis Education Forum (CEF) in sponsorship with the city of West Hollywood invites the public to a free educational event entitled "The Golden State of Cannabis." On August 20th, 2016 in the Council Chambers of West Hollywood, members of the cannabis community will educate the public on current canna-issues. After pioneering a successful, educational event around cannabis in 2015, West Hollywood has committed to keep their city on the forefront of cannabis' future.

WeHo understands the importance of cannabis. Long before "medical marijuana" was a national term, cannabis was a major issue for West Hollywood patients who sought the medicinal benefits of the plant during the AIDS epidemic. The CEF honors West Hollywood's rich history of supporting the cannabis movement and is proud to have the city of West Hollywood as a sponsor of "The Golden Of Cannabis."

"2015's Cannabis Education Forum featured panels and speakers including doctors, lawyers, parents, law enforcement, hemp industrialists and other professionals who provided well rounded commentary on the diverse issues affected by cannabis," says CEF founder Amanda Hyde. "This year's forum will engage people from across all socioeconomic spectrums and address the actual demands, laws and opportunities in this emerging industry."

Our second annual free event, "The Golden State of Cannabis", is planning to grow on our strong foundation of previous success. The CEF has enlisted the help of Jackie Subeck and Lisa Sweeney of WomenGrow Los Angeles to co-produce the event. This year's list of California-based presenters will have something for everyone as new information and applications for cannabis are discovered daily. We are excited about this exceptional day of speakers, networking, raffles, panels, and booths!

Please join us on August 20th at 625 N San Vicente Blvd, West Hollywood for the second annual Cannabis Education Forum as we present the "Golden State Of Cannabis." Our free event will start sharply at 10:00 AM and continue throughout the day until 6:00 PM. Please RSVP on the CEF's Eventbrite page to attend.
