Autumn is in the air, and Oregonians are basking in the bounty of Croptober. In celebration of the season, Freedom Fighter Farms is working with Prism House PDX to put on their very first High Class Event, for adults 21 and over. I believe this will be the first of many high class events to come from this partnership, with a theme of showcasing the higher-end side of cannabis consumption. If you are looking for a night of incredible food, premium quality cannabis, and excellent company, this is the place for you. This event will be unlike any other consumption events around, with a more intimate setting that will bring together local cultivators, processors, and consumers to enjoy the fruits of this summer’s labor, and learn more about all the incredible cannabis products available today. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go to help fund low income patient medicine, such as full extract cannabis oil for cancer patients, which is absolutely a cause worth supporting.
The Autumn Roast will truly be a “farm-to-table” event, with locally grown cannabis products available for consumption, and food grown from the gardens surrounding the house featured on the menu. According to the press release, “This locally sourced menu includes many ingredients grown on premises. Roasted Butternut Squash Macaroni and Cheese, Roasted Chicken Skewers with Prism House’s famous Zucchini Rhubarb Marmalade and much more, with gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options!” Greens, pumpkins, onions, herbs, radishes, and carrots nourished with love and care by Samantha Montanaro in the Prism House gardens will be whipped into these gourmet bites by Chef Jennifer Tyler of Panacea Valley Gourmet Edibles.
There will be a medicated chocolate fountain, and various other forms of cannabis consumption throughout the 3 levels of this gorgeous 100 year old bungalow. There will be a vapor bar and Rosin dabs, by The Fresh Connection, a dab bar by True North Extracts, shatter provided by award winning local processor Ganja Jon, and a vapor table hosted by Titrate. The Facebook invitation promises a “spectacular evening featuring premium Oregon flowers & oils, dab bars, themed rooms with consumption options, cannabis-infused comedian Ngaio Bealum, live music, and even a gift bag for guests to enjoy long after Autumn Roast!”
