Hear Oral Arguments In ASA’s Rescheduling Lawsuit In Addition To Anniversary Celebration
By Steph Sherer, Executive Director of Americans for Safe Access
Americans for Safe Access (ASA) is flying a member from Forks of Salmon, CA, to Washington, DC, to hear oral arguments in our rescheduling lawsuit and to be our guest at a special benefit dinner on October 16. The woman from Forks of Salmon (in Siskiyou County) won a drawing she entered earlier this month by donating money to support ASA’s legal efforts. She won the trip to Washington, DC, but every patient will win when we succeed in changing the classification of medical cannabis under federal law. Thanks to everyone who entered and donated. You are helping ASA make a difference!
Everyone can join the winner, ASA Chief Counsel Joe Elford, me, and other advocates for this historic day in court and ASA’s 10 Year Anniversary Dinner & Awards Ceremony in Washington, DC, on Tuesday, October 16. The dinner celebration is a chance to meet ASA’s new Board of Directors and to celebrate our ten-year anniversary. We will also be honoring individuals who have fought to ensure safe access to medical cannabis, so you don’t want to miss this event.
Buy your ticket for ASA’s Ten-Year Anniversary Dinner & Awards Ceremony right now. Tickets start at $250, and there are VIP and full-table opportunities. Reserve your space now, as space is limited. Contact [email protected] to discuss sponsorship options, and [email protected] for help in scheduling appointments with your representatives in Congress while you are in town.
Register now online or send a check or money order for your tickets to ASA, 1322 Webster Street, Suite 402, Oakland, CA 94612.
With your help and support, ASA will keep fighting hard to protect and expand patients’ rights at the local, state, and federal level. You can still help out, even if you cannot make it to Washington, DC, in October. You can make a special contribution to support ASA right now.
Thanks for your support. I look forward to seeing you in Washington, DC, in October!
