2013 national medical cannabis unity conferenceAlthough I will not be able to attend the event, I encourage everyone that can make it to do so. It’s going to be the jumping off point for 2013 in the area of medical cannabis, don’t miss out! Below is a message I received from Americans for Safe Access:

The National Medical Cannabis Unity Conference is right around the corner! Don’t forget that early bird registration for the conference ends next Tuesday, January 15th. Please register for the conference to take advantage of the discounted price on all levels of conference registration.  Registration will increase by $50 after next Tuesday.

January 15th is also the deadline for our call for abstracts. We welcome work on case reports, clinical studies, safety and drug abuse issues, implementation, basic scientific research, policy analysis, and related topics in the field of cannabis and cannabinoids. Submissions are welcome from undergraduates, graduate students, post-docs, Ph.Ds, medical doctors, and other health care, bio-medical, and legal professionals. A scientific panel consisting of Jahan Marku, Dr. Sunil Aggarwal, Dr. Michelle Sexton, Dr. Donald Abrams, RN Mary Lynn Mathre, and Dr. Mark Ware will be reviewing submissions for scientific merit and validity as well as selecting researchers to present their research at the conference. Throughout the conference weekend there will be panels as well as a poster exhibition where researchers can showcase their work.

If you would like to know more about the National Medical Unity Conference you can find out more by visiting ASANationalConference2013.com.
