Last year, Enchanted Forest Gathering, NorCal’s premier boutique music, movement, and conscious living camping festival, quietly became the second festival to offer an onsite medical cannabis dispensary. A location for unique events backed by forward-thinkers and home to the beloved Enchanted Forest Gathering (EFG), the Black Oak Ranchvenue in the heart of Laytonville, CA continues to be an event space safe for learning, communing with nature and exploring your inner artist, and is now the first venue to allow the sale of medicinal cannabis. Prior to EFG’s 2015 installment, the only festival to provide a medical dispensary was Kate Wolf Music Festival, which also took place at the Black Oak Ranch.
This year, Emerald Pharms, a solar-powered medical cannabis dispensary and resource center based at theReal Goods/Solar Living Center in Hopland, CA, will be vending on-site during the 6th annual Enchanted Forest Gathering. Located within a 12 acre permaculture oasis, the intention of Emerald Pharms is to advocate and promote holistic practices of vitality through access to cannabis . Emerald Pharms aims to help inspire healthy lifestyle choices and maintaining the highest power of good health by promoting cannabis as a component of herbal and energetic healing therapies, education through a Project CBDtrained staff, and supporting the conscious and intelligent use of this sacred plant.
Enchanted Forest Gathering shares this dispensary information shortly after announcing that the festival is proudly alcohol-free. They believe the sanctioned sales of medical cannabis at festivals will be a growing conscious movement in the country, as festivals are all embracing more natural forms of healing.
Returning to the lush landscape of Black Oak Ranch in Laytonville, CA July 22 – 24, 2016,Enchanted Forest Gathering celebrates its sixth year as NorCal’s premier boutique music, movement, and conscious living camping festival. In additional to the stellar music, the festival offers a movement festival within a festival with over 50 movement classes for flow artists, yogis, and dancers such as the holistic Twerkshop, Yoga of Bass, Soul Moves and Intuitive Contact, coupled with over 60 educational workshops covering subjects around sexuality, science, spirituality, ancestral arts, wellness, nutrition and nourishment.
