A marijuana-themed episode of Ask Dr. Nandi, a syndicated television show featuring metro Detroit area physician Dr. Partha Nandi, will be broadcast on ABC television Sunday, Feb. 24 at 5pm.
The episode was taped in 2014 and has been aired previously through the show’s syndication network. The show is recorded in an Oakland County studio and features a live audience.
Guests on the program were medical marijuana patient and leader of Sons and Daughters United, Josey Scoggin; Jim Powers (Michigan Parents For Compassion), his wife Erin and their young son Ryan; Southfield attorney Michael Komorn; Aaron Justice of L.A.’s Buds n Roses; and this author.
Detroit ABC affiliate WXYZ will air the episode.
Scoggin, who registered for the Michigan Medical Marihuana Act (MMMA) when still a minor, discusses her illness and marijuana’s effect; the Powers family is shown in a video taken in their home and during an interview with Dr. Nandi; Justis, Komorn and Thompson engage in a discussion with Dr. Nandi and take questions from the crowd.
