The lively but peaceful protest will start at 1:30 PM in front of the Federal Building located at 255 East Temple Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012.

To help members of the press understand the issues relating to these raids, we have attached a “Freeze and Review” White Paper written by veteran activist Steve DeAngelo. Mr. DeAngelo founded Harborside Health Center in Oakland, a model cannabis facility which was recently targeted for forfeiture.
The White Paper explains the history of federal intervention. It urges that district level Department of Justice cannabis raids and investigations be frozen until such time as they can be reviewed at the federal level to ensure they are consistent with national policy, rather than reflecting local prejudices. The White Paper also calls for an overall re-examination of federal medical cannabis policy.
