Join hundreds of medical cannabis patients from across the country this Spring for the second annual National Medical Cannabis Unity Conference April 5-7, 2014 in Washington, DC. Last year, we brought together 250 patients, advocates, medical professionals, workers, and industry professionals from thirty-four states and three countries for three days of education, strategy, and skills building.
At the conference, we heard from groundbreaking medical cannabis researchers and clinicians, including Dr. Sunil Aggarwal, Dr. Mark Ware, Dr. Donald Abrams, Dr. Jahan Marcu, Dr. Amanda Reiman, and more. International experts joined us from Canada, Israel, and the Netherlands. The Americans Herbal Products Association unveiled their first guidelines for distributing cannabis. And patients, advocates, workers, industry professionals, and others shared their hands-on expertise in medical cannabis activism. To culminate the event we scheduled lobby meetings for 200 advocates and spent the day on Capitol Hill meeting with our elected officials.
Although our movement is finally becoming a mainstream issue, we still have a long way to go till access to medical cannabis is a reality for the whole country we still have a lot to do before everyone who needs medical cannabis has safe and reliable access.
Together we can make a powerful impact by urging members of Congress to end the federal war against patients. They care what their constituents have to say and you have the power to help end the war.
