Cannabis Blueberry Biscuits Recipe
Want to keep your cabinets stocked with medicated treats for those days before work where you don’t have time to smoke? This blueberry muffin recipe would go great with the vanilla coffee recipe that was recently posted on the site. Put these two together in the morning and you’ll be sure to have a wonderfully elevated day.
Ingredients:
2 – 2 1/2 cups self-rising flour
2 1/2 cups fresh blueberries
1/2 cup powdered sugar
3/4 – 1 cups milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup cannabutter
3 tablespoons of milk/water mix
Directions:
The first step is to preheat the oven to 345 degrees. After you’ve done that, add the flour and sugar in to a bowl and mix them together well. Then, add your cannabis butter to the mix. Don’t melt the butter prior to adding it. If the butter is rock hard, you can let it sit to soften up a bit but you have to keep it in a solid form. Now, beat the butter in to the flour and sugar mix until most of the chunks have disappeared. Then add your blueberries!
Next, add the milk. Mix the milk in well until the substance has turned in to a dough. Make sure that it’s not too soupy. You can add more flour if necessary or more milk if it’s too thick. But it should be more like dough, not like muffin mix. Lay out some flour on a flat surface and begin to knead the dough.
When the dough has been thoroughly kneaded, get a cookie sheet and grease it well. You don’t want the dough to stick to the pan when you’re trying to eat it. Take pieces off of the dough and mold them in to small round shapes, 1/2″ thick and 2″ wide. You must remember to watch them carefully while they cook, as they might end up getting too big. Cook them for 10-20 minutes but keep a close eye on them.
The biscuit muffins shouldn’t be brown on the top. To see if they’ve finished cooking, lift one up with a knife and inspect the bottom. If the dough has a golden color, then they’re done.
In order to make the awesome glaze for these treats, keep reading! If you prefer them just the way they are, get to cooking! To make the glaze, take your powdered sugar, as well as the milk/water mix that you have prepared. Add them together and stir well. The end result should be a soupy kind of substance. Using a cooking brush, cover the biscuits with glaze once they have cooled off from the oven. Enjoy!
