Dennis Rodman and his friend Kim Jong Un are apparently going to rendezvous in Singapore next week when President Trump’s summit with the North Korean leader is expected to take place.
Supposedly Rodman is not involved in the negotiations. He’ll just happen to be there as a sponsor for PotCoin, a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency company that hopes to become the standard form of payment within the legal weed industry, at least that’s what One America News Network reported, per the Washington Post.
But then, it came out that since he’ll be in town, Rodman might have a role in the talks between Trump and Kim Jong Un .
“A lot of times in situations that involve complex diplomacy, countries like to identify ambassadors of goodwill, and whether you agree with it or not, Dennis Rodman fits the bill,” a source told the New York Post, and that Rodman “could even play some sort of role in the negotiations.”
The WashingtonPost says it’s not as far-fetched as it may sound, nor out of the question, “particularly if the role is to help break the ice between Kim and Trump.”
Rodman, after all, has been a favorite on Trump’s, “Celebrity Apprentice” and he’s been to North Korea five times since 2013.
Apparently, Rodman is one of the few people on earth to have met and be on friendly terms with both men, a feat in itself for the former NBA player.
The question now is: will Dennis Rodman do his job with PotCoin and what exactly is it?
According to the company’s site, PotCoin is an ultra-secure digital cryptocurrency as well as a network and banking system for the global legal weed industry, the first of its kind to facilitate transactions within the cannabis industry. Digitally transferred, PotCoins allow cannabis lovers to “interact, transact, communicate and grow together.”
