The Ladies of Paradise are opening their first brick and mortar shop and creative space in Portland, Oregon.

On August 10, 2018, the Instagram girls you may know as Ladies of Paradise are bringing their eclectic, over-the-top aesthetic to a shoppable form; in the opening of their first brick and mortar shop and creative space. The store, located at 959 SE Division Street in Portland, Oregon, will be decked out in items such as handmade ceramic snake pipes, CBD lotions and serums, cannabis-centric jewelry, clothing, candles, and even greeting cards with inserts for pre-rolled joints….all with an emphasis on carrying small, women-owned businesses and lines.

Ariel Zimman is the owner of Stonedware Company and one of the many designers who will have her work in the new shop. Zimman said, “I’m super excited to continue to work with the LoP by making custom pieces for their brand and new retail space. In addition to loving those gals on a personal level, I completely respect and admire their drive and mission to change the face of cannabis, especially for how it relates to women. I feel that Stonedware and the LoP are a great match as we both strive to elevate the aesthetic of cannabis and carve a new path in the growing industry, and to normalize and integrate cannabis into consumers lives in a stylish, fresh way.”

I agree with her that this shop will be mindfully curated with a vision and voice that is uniquely theirs: fun, kinda funky, and artfully classy.

“The store is a representation of our mission to support women-owned businesses who de-stigmatize what it looks like to be a modern day cannabis consumer,” said Jade Daniels, Co-Founder of Ladies of Paradise.

Oh, and did I mention the baby pink walls, disco ball planters, and cheetah print rugs?

“Initially we were just looking for office space and room to set up backdrops for our photography clients, but when we toured the Division Heights space, our minds went wild over the opportunity of having a storefront,” said Harlee Case, Creative Director for Ladies of Paradise. The store will also give opportunity for small events, vendor pop up shops, photography, shopping and overall good vibes.

Ladies of Paradise will carry out their week-long soft opening beginning with a party on Friday, August 10th, from 7:00-10:00 pm, and with hours of 11 am – 6 pm each day after that. Go check them out!
