The Make & Mary workshop events are like no other events in Oregon right now, as they bring together cannabis and creativity under one roof. The focus on these events is on the process of the craft/artwork and this event, where attendees will create brass Himmelli ornaments, will be no exception…and just in time for the Holidays!
Hifi Farms, a cannabis producer, will be present at the event to discuss their process at the event as well. Sara Batterby, CEO at Hifi, explained, “Hifi is built on our relationships and involvement with our community. We think it’s a better way to build a business, and we love what Make and Mary stands for and are excited to be working with them on this event.”
As mentioned, attendees will be creating brass Himmelli ornaments at this workshop. Himmeli is a traditional Finnish Christmas decoration, and today they are popular to use as modern, sleek household decor.
Yvonne Perez Emerson, owner of Tillamook Station and the founder of Make & Mary, said, “These social gatherings are made for those who are new to the world of cannabis as well as long-time connoisseurs. The workshops focus on heritage making, there’s a vintage vibe to each of them, but these are certainly not your grandmothers crafts! I’m excited to collaborate with Hifi Farms and am looking forward to having them in to share their story, play some vinyl and bring in the “Mary” spirit for this holiday workshop.”
Lee Henderson, Community Director at Hifi Farms, said, “Make & Mary’s mission of marrying community, creativity, and responsible cannabis consumption just completely overlaps with ours. Plus Yvonne is such an awesome person and the Tillamook Station space is so incredible- it’s so great to be partnering with them on this.”
