While many of the conferences and expos have flocked to Nevada this year after the passage of Question 2, the second Imperious Expo is coming to Arizona after a successful launch in Tacoma, WA in 2016.
Now that Prop 64 has passed in California, Arizona arguably has the best medical market in the whole U.S. Your Green Contractor was one of the many exhibitors at the Tacoma show and will be returning to exhibit at the Expo in Phoenix.
“Your Green Contractor exhibited at the inaugural Imperious Expo in Tacoma. Eric [the Expo’s organizer] and his team did a great job organizing, promoting and hosting this professional event! In addition to the diverse group of speakers, there was positive energy in the exhibit hall, making it a great place to collaborate, reconnect and meet new folks in the industry. We look forward to another amazing show in Phoenix this spring!” Michelle Koster, Business Development Director at Your Green Contractor, said.
Imperious Expo will be hosting the Cannabis Business Expo at the Phoenix Convention Center on April 12th and 13th, 2017. The show will spotlight the medical and industrial cannabis industry. It is likely that this is a topic that Arizona will get a lot of attention for this year not only because of the robust medical program and market there, but also because it was the only state with marijuana on the ballot that didn’t pass on the 2016 ballot.
Cannabis cultivation guru Ed Rosenthal attended the launch of the event in Washington and said, “Imperious Expo brought together many different segments of a gigantic industry. Cross-pollination stimulated a lot of business.”
To follow up on Rosenthal’s comment, this Expo promotes the legal medical and industrial benefits of cannabis, emphasizing the business sector, with a primary goal of connecting business to business (B2B). There will be lots of opportunities for learning as well as networking!
Eric Brandstad, founder of Forever Flowering, was a speaker at the first Imperious Expo and said, “Eric Norton and the Imperious Expo were nice enough to have me as a keynote speaker last year in Tacoma, WA. The event was jam packed with great speakers and industry pioneers. I’m excited for the next event because I believe it will only get better. Most shows are produced by someone using this as a platform to be part of the industry, but Eric and his crew really care about the industry, the people and the plants.”
The speaker lineup will highlight the following topics: cultivation, growing medium, insurance, legal, licensing, sustainability, and water, amongst others.
