Florida Medical Marijuana Question Missing on Ballot

missing marijuana question, legalization campaigns

I just read an article by Brittany Wallman at the Sun-Sentinel outlining a situation where Former Oakland Park Commissioner Anne Sallee noticed something troubling about her vote-by-mail ballot: It is missing Constitutional Amendment 2, the medical marijuana question.

The missing information occurred in Broward, Florida in the Oakland Park Precinct. Both Sallee and her husband noticed the missing marijuana question on their ballot, as well as some of their neighbors.

Surrounding precincts didn’t report any problems and the Broward Elections Supervisor Dr. Brenda Snipes states that although she has not yet seen Sallee’s ballot, that they cannot find any ballots missing the information.

Official can’t access the vote-by-mail ballots until Monday morning when tallying beings.

With all of the conspiracy theories about rigged elections and missing voter ballots, it’s hard not to buy into such a thing when you read something like this. We will update you with more on the story as it becomes available.

You can read the original piece here.
