Take The Seattle Hempfest Impact Survey
It appears that the Seattle Downtown Association wants the Seattle Hempfest organizers to prove the worth of Seattle Hempfest to the local economy. Or as Seattle Hempfest’s site states, “Believe it or not we need your help to show the Downtown Association that we are an asset to Seattle and not a blight upon downtown!” Seattle is a very progressive city, and has lately been at the forefront of sensible marijuana reform, so this seems to be a bit of a surprise to me.
I have never been lucky enough to attend Seattle Hempfest, but I know a lot of people that have attended several times. I have only heard great things about the event. There seems to be a ton of people that go every year, so the economic impact of the event on the local economy is undoubtedly significant. We need to quantify that so that the Seattle Downtown Association sees how important the event is! Click here to take the survey, and thanks in advance!
