Attend ‘Hempathy For The Holidays’ If You Are In The Boise, Idaho Area
Putting a face to cannabis reform is vital to the movement’s success. The holidays present a great opportunity to give back and show the community that cannabis activists are here to help too! Below is information about a great event that is coming up later this week. If you know of similar events in your area, feel free to e-mail me and I’ll see what I can do about helping spread the word!
WHAT: Hempathy for the Holidays Warm Clothing/Food/Toys Drive & Cannabis Awareness Rally
WHEN: Saturday, December 15th, 2:00pm-5:00pm
WHERE: Intersection of Front and 8th Streets, Downtown Boise
WHY: Christmas is coming up, time to show our community we care! We will be collecting warm clothing, coats, blankets, nonperishable food, and new unwrapped toys for donation– food will be given to the Idaho Food Bank, toys will be given to the Idaho Youth Ranch, and the warm clothing and blankets will be distributed directly to Boise’s homeless population. We are trying to show our community that we are here, we are good people who care about our community, we are more than the pothead stereotype– so this will also be a NON-SMOKING Cannabis Awareness Rally! The public is encouraged to attend, donate an item or items, and hold a sign to help educate the Treasure Valley about the truth and benefits of a Cannabis-friendly society.
