Tomorrow I get to do something that I am blown away by – I get to attend a brunch honoring former Congressman Barney Frank at a fundraiser for Representative Earl Blumenauer in Portland. I have admired both men for a long time, and tomorrow I’m lucky enough to see them both in action. I’m very hopeful that Oregon’s marijuana industry will come out in full force to thank these men for all that they have done to support reform over the years. Below is more information about the event, which is hosted by the National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA). You can register at this link here:
The Honorable Barney Frank will be joining Congressman Earl Blumenauer in hosting a champagne brunch to show support for Oregon’s marijuana industry and the work that Congressman Blumenauer does around the country to support legal cannabis legislation.
We are really honored to have Congressman Frank joining us for this event. He introduced the first bill to end marijuana prohibition on the federal level back in 2011.
A host sponsor for the event is $5000 and includes 2 tickets for the VIP reception, a signed copy of Barney Frank’s book, picture with both Congressmen, logo on the invitation, placement of a banner in the ballroom and a priority table for you and nine guests.
The $2,500 table sponsors will also receive 2 tickets to join the Congressman before the brunch at the VIP reception, have banners hung in the ballroom, logo on the invitation and a reserved table for ten.
Individual tickets can be purchased for $100 each.
