Marcus Musante, Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney, launched his highly anticipated campaign for California’s 44th Congressional District this weekend from the High Times So-Cal Cannabis Cup, announced Musante campaign strategist and CA GOP Associate delegate Jason Aula.
“I don’t always campaign for a Democrat, but when I do they will have the stand on the issues Marcus Musante does,” said Aula. “Mr. Musante is the candidate that can serve the 44th Congress District African American community the best, Isadore Hall III’s official policies increase the incarceration rates of African Americans and we will make sure the African American community gets the message too. Nanette Barragan’s policy kills jobs and focuses on Democratic Party establishment talking points like the environment not the needs of the working poor of the 44th Congress District. Nanette has a reputation of being pompous and we believe the hardworking people of the 44th Congress District do not want an egotistic elitist representing them and Marcus intends to win the hearts of the Latino community through hard work such as him making calls and knocks personally so people can know his humble character.”

Marcus Musante has more than a decade of involvement protecting clients and holding government bureaucracies liable to Los Angeles’s families of all classes. Marcus protected communities through the legal system to achieve justice and stop unscrupulous criminals with a 96% conviction rate during his seven years working at DA’s office. As a California defense lawyer, he has helped many clients in the South Los Angeles County area protect their constitutional rights and avoid excessively punitive penalties clients would have got had they taken a public defender or represented themselves.
