Missouri’s cannabis laws are terrible. Fortunately, we live in a democracy, where we get to elect our lawmakers. If you want to legalize cannabis in Missouri, the single most important thing you can do is VOTE this coming Tuesday, November 4. While Show-Me Cannabis does not endorse candidates, we want voters to be informed of where candidates stand on cannabis policy. As such, we worked with Missouri NORML to survey every candidate running in a legislative race on a number of different cannabis policy issues, and assembled their responses in HTML, PDF, and Excel formats.

Candidates were asked about their positions on the following five issues:

  1. Legalization and regulation of cannabis
  2. Decriminalization of cannabis
  3. Expungement of criminal records for cannabis offenders
  4. Legalization of industrial hemp
  5. Legalization of medical cannabis with a doctor’s recommendation

All responses received are included in our results, and all candidates for all legislative offices in Missouri, including federal US House candidates, received our survey. If no response is listed, no response was received from the candidate.

We’re excited to provide important resources that inform a pro-cannabis reform electorate and hold politicians accountable for the positions we take.

These resources are expensive to compile, so if you are able to do so, please consider making a donation to support Show-Me Cannabis’ efforts.
