Make Sure To Support Marijuana Reform On April 20th

I hope your 4/20 week is going well. Mine is going very well. Maybe a little too well; I forgot to post a picture of my new bubbler that I purchased! Yesterday I said I was going to buy a piece a day, which I am, leading up to April 20th and post it on The Weed Blog. Well apparently the Larry OG went too well with the new edition, because I forgot to post the article! I will post it later today, along with today’s addition. I think I’m going bong style. Any suggestions on make and model?

Now that the confession is over, I want to get to a more serious topic. A lot of people get caught up in the 4/20 hype, which is not a problem. But I want to take a second to remind people that there is still a battle going on to end marijuana prohibition, to legalize industrial hemp, and to bring medical marijuana to patients in the states that don’t have programs. I have compiled a list of initiatives, petitions, campaigns, and causes that need your help. Note – Colorado and Washington’s I-502 are not on the list. That’s because they already made the ballot! But that doesn’t mean that they don’t need your help just because they no longer need your signature. Help them spread awareness.

The list below is not comprehensive. It’s a list of people that have reached out to The Weed Blog over the last year or so, so if you have a cause that needs to be on the list, just shoot me an e-mail. I will gladly update the list as needed. Another great place to check where to get active is our ‘Activism Directory.’ In between bong hits and dabs, take a moment to ‘like’ a campaign on Facebook. Make a donation of $4.20 to a group that is fighting very hard to reform the laws that are oppressing you. Everyone wants to be asked for their autograph right? Well then give one to a signature gatherer! JUST DO SOMETHING, PLEASE AND THANK YOU!
