Washington D.C. voters legalized marijuana during the 2014 Election. Since that time, Washington DC has been under attack by federal politicians who obviously don’t like the fact that marijuana is legal in Washington DC.. There is still a ton of work left to be done in Washington D.C., despite the favorable 2014 vote. The D.C. Council is going to largely determine the future of cannabis policy in D.C., and D.C. residents deserve to have councilors that will fight for them. There is an event tonight dedicated to discussing cannabis policy with D.C. Council candidates. Below is more information, via the event’s Eventbrite page:
