Nazis Caught Masquerading as Anti-Fascist Activists
EUGENE, Ore. – The CEO and owner of OG Analytical, a marijuana testing laboratory, has been outed as a Nazi sympathizer. Bethany Sherman founded the company in 2013 and was revealed to be a racist after activists from the anti-fascist organization Antifa exposed her white pride rhetoric from her Twitter accounts. Antifa also revealed that Sherman has several white supremacist ties, including Matthew Coombs, co-owner of OG Analytical, as well as her baby-daddy who is involved with the American Patriots Brigade.
Most people are at least a tad bit ashamed of their heritage when said heritage includes mass murder, colonialism, lynching and slavery, but not Eva Braun over here. Sherman responded to the revelations by writing a statement published by The Oregonian defending white nationalism, saying “I find it extremely disconcerting that it is admired and revered to have ‘gay pride,’ ‘black pride,’ ‘Asian pride, or pride in any other cultural heritage, but if you have ‘white pride’ it automatically makes you a Nazi, and you are ostracized, attacked, and lynched by your community. I admit, I am proud that I am white, and I’m not ashamed of my heritage. And I admit that I have been so conditioned to feel shame about this pride that I discreetly sought community where I could.”
I found her “lynched by your community” line especially nauseating. Apparently, she missed history class throughout her school daze and doesn’t understand that when we live in a white supremist patriarchal society, running around spewing rhetoric about white pride makes you a racist. Her Twitter handle reportedly was @14th_word. The phrase 14 words is a slogan for white supremacists meaning “We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children,” according to the Anti-Defamation League. Sherman also said in the statement that she plans to sell the company.
