National Cannabis Leaders Gather at Seattle’s HempFest
Steve and Andrew DeAngelo – Brothers to appear at nation’s largest gathering of cannabis law reform, August 16-18 in Seattle, Washington
Oakland, Calif. — National cannabis leaders from the nation’s largest and ‘gold standard’ medical cannabis dispensary, Harborside Health Center, brothers Steve and Andrew DeAngelo will speak this weekend at Seattle’s HempFest. Hundreds of thousands of activists, cannabis educators, doctors and more are expected to gather at Seattle’s HempFest, which takes place August 16-18 in the Centennial, Elliott Bay and Myrtle Edwards Parks of Seattle, Washington.
The DeAngelos and Harborside were featured last month on CNN’s docu-series, “Inside Man” with Morgan Spurlock, and in Dr. Sanjay Gupta’s one-hour documentary, “Weed,” on CNN Sunday night as the first dispensary in the country treating children with non-psychoactive medical cannabis for severe epilepsy attacks.
With 20 states and the District of Columbia now passing compassionate medical cannabis laws, and two states, Washington and Colorado, passing full legalization, this event promises to be a propelling moment in the history of the cannabis reform movement.
