Going to marijuana events is one of my favorite things to do. If I had enough money, I would travel the country going from marijuana event to marijuana event. Occasionally I get lucky enough to go to one, and I treasure every minute of it.
My favorite events involve panels where experts talk about cultivation, business, activism, etc. A good event has solid panels with true experts in their field of study. A good event also has quality vendors and usually quality, big name music acts. There will be more cannabis industry events in 2014 than in any other year on record. Everyone and their grandma is trying to get in on the Green Rush right now, and if you don’t know a lot about marijuana, attending an event is a good place to start your research.
