Humboldt Green Events, producers of Cannifest, are excited to announce the return of Humboldt County’s signature cannabis culture festival this Labor Day Weekend, August 30–31, 2025, at Halverson Waterfront Park. This year’s edition will mark Cannifest’s 10th anniversary, promising an unforgettable weekend of world-class music, community connection, and celebration of the plant that has shaped Humboldt’s culture.
A Decade of Music, Culture & Community
Since its launch in 2015, Cannifest has grown into a cornerstone event in Humboldt, showcasing the region’s vibrant creativity and deep cannabis heritage. “We’re incredibly excited to bring Cannifest back,” says Stephen Gieder, Executive Director of Humboldt Green Events. “Each year, we elevate the experience, and for 2025, we’ve truly outdone ourselves with a bigger, bolder music lineup than ever before.”

World-Class Music on the Humboldt Waterfront
Headlining this milestone year, The String Cheese Incident will perform two full sets — their first Humboldt performance in more than two decades. But the musical magic doesn’t stop there. Cannifest will also feature powerhouse performances from:
- LaRussell – Lyrical, bold, and full of soul
- PawPaw Rod – Genre-mixing groove master
- Jesse Royal – Jamaica’s roots reggae royalty
- …and so much more
From improvisational jam to reggae rhythms and genre-defying grooves, the weekend’s soundtrack will deliver something for every taste.
21+ Cannabis Lounge Experience
For guests 21 and over, Cannifest offers a licensed Cannabis Lounge — a curated, comfortable space to enjoy top-tier Humboldt cannabis products. Whether you’re sampling award-winning flower, exploring new brands, or simply relaxing with friends, the lounge is designed to showcase the very best of the region’s cannabis culture in a safe and inviting atmosphere. After their amazingly successful Headstash Bowl in NYC in June, this lounge is sure to be next level this year!
