For the fourth consecutive year, The Clinic of Colorado hosted its annual charity golf tournament in Denver with all benefits going towards the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The event’s main sponsor was again WeedMaps, and for us, it’s simply the event of the year: a great time combined with an even better cause.

And this year lived up to the lofty expectations The Clinic have set for the event-and then some. All told, the event raised upwards of $30,000 dollars for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

The event occurred last Sunday, August 4th, and was attended by hundreds of members of the medical cannabis community, from Denver and all-around the country. Other notable sponsors included Heady Glass, Dixie Elixirs, and CloudPenz.

The winning score shot a 56 (yes, really!) at Denver’s City Park Course, which featured serene weather and flawless views of Downtown Denver. But on this day, anyone in attendance and the entire medical marijuana community were all winners.

It’s rare that the mainstream media gives dispensaries recognition for charitable causes like this one-but philanthropy plays a huge role in all our lives as the industry moves forward and gains legitimacy. And this one is well-worth recognizing.

We couldn’t be more proud and honored to be have been apart of this fantastic event again with The Clinic and all our friends in attendance. There are hundreds of thousands of patients all over the world suffering from Multiple Sclerosis that need safe and proper access to manage their pain, and it prides us to know that our industry is doing its part to help ensure progress.

We’re not just stoners-we’re people too.

You can donate to the National MS Society right here and help make a positive difference.
