steve deangelo hhcHarborside Health Center Founder To Give Free Lecture

Steve DeAngelo, Executive Director of Harborside Health Center in Oakland and star of “Weed Wars”, will be giving a free lecture in West Hollywood as part of a week-end devoted to federal tax reform.

Join Steve for a rousing and inspirational “Journey Through Cannabis Reform,” which chronicles 40 years of reform efforts and outlines the challenges ahead. The speech is at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 4 at Plummer Park, 7377 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood California.

Mr. DeAngelo has been a visionary in cannabis reform for the past forty years, and his medical cannabis facility, Harborside, is the largest in the nation. This model facility in Oakland has provided so much medicinal cannabis to the sick and dying over the years, that should DeAngelo be broughtup on federal charges, the death penalty could be imposed.

Come hear the prospective of a man who has devoted his entire adult life to the cannabis plant, and continues to operate a model facility in face of recent federal raids in Oakland and an IRS audit that is so onerous it may well be the downfall of Harborside and any other cannabis facilities that federal tax agents target.

For the last two years, federal raids have included IRS agents. Cannabis collectives and cooperatives all over the state have been undergoing federal tax audits.

Mr. DeAngelo’s appearance is part of a week-end devoted to the reform of federal tax laws that unfairly target medical cannabis collectives and cooperatives. Information on this weekend of events can be found at: https://www.280ereform.org/seminars.
