I received the following e-mail from the Florida medical marijuana campaign:
As we continue the race to get Medical Marjuana on the 2016 ballot, we’ve seen tremendous support from the community. With your help we’ve raised over $71,000 of the $150,000 goal!
We’re still hoping to raise another $29,000 in the next 7 days to stay on pace with our goal. Can you help us do it?

HERE’S WHY IT MATTERS:
We still have to get over 324,000 petitions validated by the end of January. That means we need to make sure all petitions get turned in with enough time for the Supervisors of Elections to inspect signatures, confirm registrations, etc.
We MUST get enough petition gatherers in the field to make sure this happens – which means we can’t wait until 2016 to get the funding for it. We have to get the money in before the end of the year (and really, sooner than that).
John Morgan is STILL matching donations 9 to 1. The $150k we raise will result in a total of $1.5 million (combined with his match).
