What Is The United States Medical Marijuana Chamber Of Commerce?
Over the past 24 hours there has been a lot of news surrounding the recent endorsement of Obama by the United States Medical Marijuana Chamber of Commerce (USMMCOC). Obama has raided more medical marijuana dispensaries than any other president combined. Naturally this caused an uproar of confusion within the cannabis community with questions about who this organization was and why in the world would they endorse a president that is attacking patients who need safe access to their medicine?
After splashing some water on my face, I did a little googling and quickly discovered that the “USMMCOC is a for profit organization built to tax regulate and control the Cannabis Industry in the United States.”
On top of that Thomas L. Leto III, President and Founder of the USMMCOC is not only a canna-business entrepreneur, he also apparently hates gays.
I believe that God created Men and Women to reproduce. It is common logic that EACH and EVERY one of us came from a Women’s womb. I believe that men and women that truly believe they are Gay, are merely confused. I have sat back and watched long enough. Cardinal Dolan/Archdiocese of New York, I BEG you!!! Please help me, help you fight this Abomination. I truly DO have a plan worth going public. I will run against President Obama if it is the only way to Preserve the Truth.

“President Obama’s comments today in support of the redefinition of marriage are deeply saddening. As I stated in my public letter to the President on September 20, 2011, the Catholic Bishops stand ready to affirm every positive measure taken by the President and the Administration to strengthen marriage and the family.”
Next I went over to the USMMCOC website where I found a huge picture of Obamas face and a one paragraph statement next to it proclaiming that “Recent research has shown that President Obama’s Medical Marijuana usage is a big reason in which he understands the value of Federally allowing this industry to exist.” President Obama’s Medical Marijuana “usage” of what? The only usage of Medical Marijuana President Obama has used is his power to neglect sick and dying patients.
Below that picture of Obama is a picture of Leto speaking at what would seem to be a press conference regarding the recent Obama endorsement, until you look close enough to see that the picture is dated September, 2011. And here comes the kicker, Leto wants USMMCOC to have a complete federal monopoly over what the industry standards would be.
“All applications and Distribution of Medical Marijuana will be reviewed and approved by USMMCOC. The United States Chamber of Commerce will tax, regulate and control the Cannabis Industry of the United States of America.”
Just so I have the record straight (a little pun intended), Leto despises gays, and thinks his for-profit cannabis venture is going to run the federal marijuana industry when (and if) Obama gets re-elected? And I thought the GOP game plan was getting messy. This is just one more reason to why we need REAL government regulation of cannabis in America, for the people by the people. Not for-profit entrepreneurs trying to jump ahead of the curve.
