Ronnie Chang, a legitimate medical marijuana patient has been in federal custody for over six months awaiting trial. Ronnie is facing over sixty federal counts for operating a legal state sanctioned, medical marijuana collective. After winning his case in State court, US Attorney Laura Duffy’s office decided to make an example out him by filing over sixty trumped up federal charges in an attempt to dissuade anyone else from attempting to follow state law with regards to medical marijuana.
Ronnie was his mother’s sole caregiver. As a result of Duffy’s persecution of her son, Mrs. Chang is facing eviction. Both Mrs. Chang and Ronnie are in dire financial straits and needs your help. We have created a fund dedicated to raising money for Ronnie and his 85 year old mother where 100% of the monies raised will directly go to Ronnie and his mother Carmen.
