Today Is The Life, Liberty, And Pursuit Of Happiness Money Bomb
Show-Me Cannabis Regulation launched an initiative in Springfield, Missouri that would decriminalize possession of small amounts of cannabis. This measure will save Springfield’s taxpayers thousands of dollars in law enforcement expenses every year, and – more importantly – save hundreds of peaceful Springfield citizens from arrest and the curse of a criminal record. Our Springfield initiative is modeled upon an initiative that was approved 61 percent of voters in Columbia, Missouri in 2004 and has effectively limited the damage of cannabis prohibition in the city over the past eight years.
Today is the day to support decriminalization in Springfield! Please donate now to our Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness Money Bomb to help prevent the arrest of hundreds of peaceful cannabis users every year. You will also be sending a message to the rest of the state and the country that it is time to change our draconian cannabis laws. After you donate, be like John Hancock in 1776 and make sure everyone knows where you stand by forwarding this email to your friends and family or inviting them to the event page on Facebook.
Even if you can’t give much, every donation counts. Just five or ten dollars could help save someone from the nearly perpetual punishment of a criminal record. I donated $30 myself just after midnight, and by one o’clock in the morning, we had already received over $100 in donations. Help us reach $1,000 before the Fourth!
