students for sensible drug policy ssdpI have asked TWB readers to donate to and/or support various causes over the years, and I’m happy to say that some of you fine folks have always stepped up. Now I’m asking for the largest favor I’ve ever asked. My favorite organization, Students for Sensible Drug Policy (SSDP), needs our help. They need help getting donations to keep their organization open and working to protect all of our rights.

If they don’t get funding, they will have to stop their great work. That is just simply not an option as far as I’m concerned. I’ve seen SSDP members and alumni help legalize medical marijuana in Colorado and Washington, help legalize medical marijuana in numerous states, and they were absolutely instrumental in saving Oregon’s medical marijuana program during the last Attorney General race, all while rarely getting the credit they deserved.

This is not your average crowdfunding campaign. This is not someone with a far fetched idea trying to get money for their unrealistic invention. It’s not someone trying to start a campaign from scratch. Students for Sensible Drug Policy has chapters all over America; 225+ campuses in 43 states and 13 other countries to be exact. These are the hardest working activists in the movement. Every dollar helps, and your money goes a lot further with SSDP than with any other drug policy reform organization, hands down. They do more with less. I’m willing to debate anyone that wants to argue those simple facts, because there simply is no debate.

Below is a video about their crowdfunding campaign. Please, please watch the video, tell everyone you know, and make a donation today. Every dollar counts, and do what you can to help those that are helping you! Click here to learn more about their campaign and donate.
