‘The Cannabis Manifesto: A New Paradigm for Wellness’ by Steve DeAngelo was released to the public on Tuesday. I knew when the book was released that it would generate a lot of buzz, and lead to constructive conversations across the country as a result. I was blown away yesterday to receive a text from one of my college professors asking if I had ever heard of ‘some book called The Cannabis Manifesto?’ My professor knows that I run this blog, but she doesn’t follow my blog, so she knows that I like the topic of cannabis but I had never told her about the book.

I quickly text back saying, yes, I had heard of the book, and that a quote from me was actually included in the book. I sent another text asking why she was asking. She said that she was looking for book ideas for one of her classes (public policy professor) on Amazon, and saw that the number one book in that category was one about cannabis. We then had a text conversation about the state of cannabis policy in America, the future of cannabis, and how she always tells her students how the idea for The Weed Blog originated on their campus. I urged her to buy the book, which she said she would certainly do, and to consider using it in her classes.

When I got home from a very long day of working yesterday I looked it up on Amazon, and sure enough, there is ‘The Cannabis Manifesto: A New Paradigm for Wellness’ by Steve DeAngelo at the top of the charts for the ‘Government Social Policy’ category:

That means that within just two days of its release, ‘The Cannabis Manifesto: A New Paradigm for Wellness’ by Steve DeAngelo has not only achieved top seller status on Amazon, but that it has generated at least one conversation that I know of that was extremely positive. I can’t help but wonder how many other conversations are occurring out there as a result of this book.

I can’t say it enough, this is a crucial time for the cannabis movement and the cannabis industry. The 2016 Election could see as many as half a dozen more states legalize cannabis, and potentially more states legalize medical cannabis. Between now and then we may even see a state legislature step up and legalize cannabis. But all of that depends on how Americans perceive the spread of cannabis reform and the spread of the cannabis industry. ‘The Cannabis Manifesto: A New Paradigm for Wellness’ by Steve DeAngelo is going to help in big ways to push the conversation forward, to educate Americans on the topic of cannabis and wellness, and to help ensure that cannabis prohibition is ended in the near future once and for all.

You can get a copy of the book by clicking this link, and for a limited time the publishing company is throwing in a BUNCH of bonuses. Let’s keep spreading the word on this book until it becomes a New York Times best seller! If you have already purchased the book, please leave a review about it on Amazon to encourage others to do so to.
