Donate To The ‘Yes On 80’ Campaign Online
Portland, Ore. – Seizing on recent endorsements including former Secretary of State Bill Bradbury and State Ways & Means Co-Chair Rep. Peter Buckley, the Yes on 80 campaign is launching its first ‘8 for 80 ‘money bomb’ online fundraiser with the goal of raising eight-thousand dollars in a 36-hour online and phone fundraising blitz.
The ‘money bomb’ online fundraiser will start at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Sep. 26 and run for 36 hours, until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sep. 27.
To participate in the ‘money bomb,’ supporters must go to www.Vote80.org and click on the orange “Donate” button.
All contributors who donate $20 or more will also be entered in a drawing to win great prizes.
“With Election Day six weeks away, polls show Oregonians evenly split with more than 20 percent of voters still undecided, which presents a great prospect for Measure 80,” said campaign spokesman Roy Kaufmann. “As average Americans continue to support Measure 80 with their contributions of $25, $50, or $100, we will be able to help educate Oregon voters on the need for replacing failed prohibition with sensible, effective marijuana regulation.”
To learn more about Measure 80, which will bolster Oregon’s economy, repeal prohibition, regulate marijuana for adults 21 and older, and re-introduce agricultural hemp into Oregon’s sustainable economy, visit www.Vote80.org.
