aaron smith national marijuana business conference 2012The cannabis industry is about to take the Eastern United States by storm. More and more states are about to reform their cannabis laws, and this will lead to the growth of the legal cannabis industry in the Eastern United States. Now is the time to prepare, which is why the 2015 Fall Regional Cannabis Business Summit hosted by the National Cannabis Industry Association has such good timing. The event is going to kick off tomorrow in New York City, and as far as I know, tickets are still available. I’ve seen many of my friends checking into their hotel rooms on Facebook and getting ready for the event. They are all very excited.

The event will kick off tomorrow at the Wyndham New Yorker Hotel at 9:15 am with opening remarks by Aaron Smith, the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the National Cannabis Industry Association. My buddy Kaliko will be attending the event on behalf of The Weed Blog, so if you are at the event make sure to track him down and say hello! One thing that I love about this event’s agenda is that there is a panel that will talk about each and every state in the region. I always am turned off by events that make it sound like cannabis is a ‘one-size-fits-all’ industry. That is not the case at all. Each state has its own opportunities and challenges.

There will be panels that talk about managing large amounts of cash, about cultivation, 280e, risk management, investing, financing your cannabis idea, and many other things. There are going to be world class speakers at the event, all of which you can learn something from. If you are serious about succeeding in the cannabis industry, you have to learn. This is a very reputable event with very qualified speakers and exhibitors. If you are in the area, you should definitely check it out. You can buy tickets to the event at this link here.
