Marijuasana Launches New Online Yoga and Cannabis Video Series

Marijuasana founder Stacey Mulvey adds new online video series to her cannabis infused pop up yoga events.

You can wait for Marijuasana, the popular cannabis-infused yoga event, to visit your city—last weekend was Portland, up next is Boston and Oakland—or starting this month, you can become a Marijuasana Online member, which gives you access to exclusive wellness videos lead by Marijuasana founder, Stacey Mulvey. This way, you can join her inspired, and lifted, mindful movement practice in the comfort of your own home.

THE WEED BLOG sat down with Stacey to discuss the launch of her awesome new Marijuasana video series, where she explains the benefits of combining cannabis with her unique teachings, great for beginners and advanced Marijasana explorers alike.

How does it work?

Marijuasana Premium Access gives you my essential class, the one that gets taught in cities nationwide. Plus, additional material that includes special sequences I’ve created to compliment private instruction with participants. The series includes short videos, a leg strengthening series to balance the intense stretching done in yoga, and a segment on finding your core.

What are the sequences like?

The 30 minute neck and shoulders sequence is designed to create space and ease in that area of the body. First, I focus on opening and stretching the muscles around the shoulders, so you can access the delicate tissues of the neck more effectively. Once the shoulders are free, we target the neck by stretching in several ranges of motion. There are exercises for the neck in this sequence, because adding strength to the front of the neck can relieve headaches and neck pain, and invites the antagonistic muscles of the back of the neck to lengthen even further.

How does consuming cannabis beforehand do to enhance the experience?

Consuming cannabis prior to this sequence may create a relaxing and mindful experience, allowing you to master the delicate structure of the neck and shoulders. Done daily, this sequence may provide significant relief. New content will be added to Marijuasana Online each month, with lots of additional instruction in mindful movement, meditation, and contemplative practice in regards to cannabis in the works!

What does monthly membership look like?

Monthly membership allows access to Marijuasana’s online yoga videos. The first level is free, and gets you access to a video about breathing. The second level is $2.99 a month and features my full length class, a 63 minute video. The last level has four videos for $4.99 a month. It includes the regular class, a video on how to relieve tension and pain in the neck and shoulders, a video on finding your core, and one on how to strengthen your legs for yoga. Over 90 minutes of video, with special instruction from me.
