No Recording Devices Will Be Allowed In Federal Cannabis Rescheduling Courtroom
I know there are a lot of people out there that want to watch the federal marijuana rescheduling case (Americans for Safe Access v. Drug Enforcement Administration), myself being one of them. Unfortunately, it sounds like we will have to live with written updates. The following message was posted on Americans for Safe Access’ Twitter page:
We will not be able to livestream or tweet the #ASAvDEA hearing. Summary and updates around 11a ET.
For those of you following along with your watch, an update should be coming any minute. As soon as I get something in my e-mail, see something come across Twitter, or in any way shape or form receive information, I will post it ASAP! In the meantime, check out Americans for Safe Access’ Executive Director Steph Sherer’s interview on CNN this morning.
“Medical marijuana patients are finally getting their day in court,” said Joe Elford, Chief Counsel with Americans for Safe Access (ASA), who will be arguing the case before the D.C. Circuit. “What’s at stake in this case is nothing less than our country’s scientific integrity and the imminent needs of millions of patients.”
