How To Determine The Size Of Your Marijuana Grow Room

The size of the marijuana grow room strongly depends on how much marijuana you wish to acquire and how much space you have at your disposal.

The sensitivity and the kind of illness of the person intending to use the marijuana determine the amount that is needed. You do not need to be an expert in the dosage of medicines and drugs to calculate the required amount of marijuana. Everyone should decide for themselves how much they need.

The standard amount of marijuana that people use per day is 1 to 2 grams per day. This means that you need an average t1 or 2 ounces per month . Every 2 months a taking in of crops can be arranged, because a full flowering period lasts around 60 days. If you want to make 2 ounces per mont, you have to harvest twice the amount, in this case 4 ounces of marijuana. Download my free marijuana grow bible for more tips about growing marijuana plants.

When you are a very experienced marijuana grower and can increase the amount of CO2 in the air, you can produce up to 30 ounces per 600watt bulb. But if you are an novice grower who carries out everything properly in the flowering period, you should expect a harvest of 5 to 10 ounces per 11 ft2  with a 600watt High Pressure Sodium lamp.

The figures are a mean. The average depends on the level of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the air, the system you use for lighting, the type of marijuana and the sort of growing. The inexperienced marijuana grower should expect to get half a gram of marijuana per watt of light the first time he or she harvests. Experienced people should be able to produce twice that amount.

If you cultivate cannabis indoors and own both a flowering and a growing room you may assume that you will be able to harvest the following per 2 months:

An average of around 1.5 to 2.0 oz (3.5 oz for advanced growers) with 200-watt CFL lamps in a grow cabinet that measures 3.5 x 1.5 x 6.5 ft.

An average of around 3.0 to 5.0 oz (9.0 oz for advanced growers) with a 250-watt HPS lamp in a grow cabinet that measures 3.5 x 1.5 x 6.5 ft.

An average of around 4.5 to 9.0 oz (14 oz for advanced growers) with a 400-watt HPS lamp in a grow room that measures 3.5 x 3.5 x 7 ft.

An average of around 5.0 to 10 oz (21 for advanced growers) with a 600-watt HPS lamp in a grow room that measures 4 x 4 x 8 ft.

An average of around 9.0 to 18 oz (36 for advanced growers) with a 1000-watt HPS lamp in a grow room that measures 5 x 5 x 8 ft.
