The Creators Of ‘The Union’ Have Enough Funds To Start On ‘The Culture High’
I love it when social media, activism, and education all succeed at the same time. As loyal readers know, we have posted before about this fundraising campaign. I came across the following message from film creator Adam Scorgie:
What an amazing journey this entire kickstarter experience has been, we truly can’t thank you enough for the incredible support.
There have been many of you asking what happens once the campaign is over? How will they know where to send the DVD/poster or find out my shirt size? How long until I receive my DVD or digital download?
Once the kickstarter campaign ends on August 3rd kickstarter will send you a detailed information sheet that will provide us with all the information we need to supply you with your rewards.
It is important to remember that we have not yet shot the film. This means DVD’s, Blu-ray copies and digital downloads will be provided once the film is shot and edited and is commercially available. What we mean by commercially available is the day that our distributor releases the DVD you will be mailed your DVD copy or a password protected link to download your digital downloadable version.
Rest comfortably knowing that kickstarter does a GREAT job of helping us to gather all the information needed to make sure you receive your much deserved goodies.
The other thing we are working on is The Culture High app, that will be free for Iphone and Droid users, so that all kickstarter supporters can stay up to date throughout the ENTIRE filming process, with behind the scenes footage, production stills, screen savers and much, much more.
My apologies for being a little MIA on kickstarter and social media sites the last few days, I have been under the weather but will be available now until the end of the campaign to answer any and all questions or concerns you may have.
